David graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics degree, and has completed the Masters of Business Administration degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

David joined the Manager in 2008 as analyst and was promoted to be portfolio manager in 2011 and served in this position until 2016, following which he was appointed in his current dual roles as an executive director for the Manager as well as its affiliate Centaline Securities Limited.
