Michael graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) degree, and completed the Masters of Information System degree at the City University of Hong Kong in 2001.

Prior to becoming an Investment Director of the Manager in 2019, Michael has served as a vice president for Tonghai Securities Limited from 2012 to 2019. He has been managing investment portfolios of various clients since 2012. Michael is also an author of several publications in relation to investments.

Outside the investment field, Michael is also well versed in the wireless technology industry, having served as an executive director of the Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association from 2001 to 2011.
